1. Miss Sioux and Mister Marley call in the morning to make a reservation for tonight. We are very busy and tell them, that they would have to confirm their double room booking before lunch. (Set an expiration date and time that suits you) Mail Miss Sioux the provisional confirmation.
2. Does the email arrive?
3. They haven't confirmed in time. Is the provisional reservation gone?
4. Later in the afternoon they pitch up. Luckily, we still have a double room for them.
5. .. Or so we thought. With horror they come back to the reception and tell us that a whole colony of ants and a swarm of bees were awaiting them. We apologize deeply and put the double room under maintenance...
6. .. while we reallocate Miss Sioux and Mister Marley in the bigger, nicer family room. It goes without saying, that we only charge what the double room would have cost.
7. To relax they book a massage for 2. (add any activity or create a new 'massage' one)
8. In the evening they enjoy a couple of drinks at the bar: 2 drinks are on the house, 2 drinks 50% discount. (add them from POS app)
9. Because they have to leave very early the next morning, they want to pay and check out before they go to bed. Miss Sioux pays cash and even gives a 100 ZAR tip.
10. Mr. Marley has 200 cash on him the rest he pays with card.
11. Does the payment link work?
12. Is the invoice correct?
13. Does the percentage paid icon show 100%?
14. Roxton met Herki - a (rad!) band that is currently on tour - informed us today, that due to a flat tyre they have to reschedule their reservation. We check and find them in our system for next week Wednesday (2 dorm beds for 2 nights).
15. Edit/Change their booking to Friday - Saturday. Furthermore, they decided to spoil themselves and they want now a twin room.
16. Send a confirmation email and check them in online (because they haven't done that so far.)
