1. Mr. Popcorn sends us an email request for a room for his family of 4 (his wife Mrs. Popcorn and 2 girls) for tomorrow night until Friday. We send out a confirmation email.
2. Does the email arrive?
3. Is the name of Mrs. Popcorn auto-populated?
4. Does the online check-in work? (Make sure that the email address used is only saved once as a customer in the system! Otherwise error message will certainly pop up)
5. Fast forward: The Popcorn's arrive and check-in. The kids are thirsty and order two Ice Tea's at the bar under their Fathers name.
6. Does it add to the room tab?
7. Jade and Vida, 2 friends are coming to the reception. They have stayed in our backpackers dorm since yesterday (for 2 nights)..
8. .. and booked a yoga class for this morning.
9. Sadly, Vida was not impressed with the class at all and left after 15 minutes. The girls come to complain and because they are very adamantly saying that this was just an unacceptable, unprofessional class we give them a 20% discount.
10. The girls decide to have a pineapple juice from the bar. However, the barkeeper was probably flirting a bit too much with them and by mistake added the two juices to Mister Popcorn's tab.
11. Luckily, he notices it quite quickly and tells the receptionist, who deletes the drinks from the Popcorns ... (pls clarify if you were able to delete it in the booking schedular or if you had to go into the sales.)
12.. and add it on the girls tab.
13. The girls really enjoy to spend time with the barkeeper and later come to tell the reception that they will extend their stay for another night. Extend Vida's stay in the booking window ... (Does it update the number of nights correctly?)
14. ... and drag Jade's booking forward for one night. (Does it update the number of nights correctly?)
15. Check the girls out. Vida is paying cash..
16. .. Jade is paying with card.
17. Invoice correct?
18. Charlene calls to confirm a single room reservation she has made earlier. Send her a confirmation email. After you already sent it out, you realise that you have spelled her name completely wrong ('Scharlene', or 'Charlie'..)
19. She gets the email and checks in online and provides us with the correct spelling.
20. Play around with minus (-), negative numbers in quantity, nights, and discounts. Please report under remarks or the skype group if system accepted it.
